Established in 1982, Schendel Mechanical grew from a family owned business headquartered in Edmonton, Alberta to a leading Mechanical Contractor serving Western Canada with infrastructure, healthcare, industrial and long term maintenance support.
We take great pride in building relationships, constructing facilities, and building Canadian infrastructure with the highest standards.
With over 85 million square feet of fabrication space and a 5.25 acre lay down yard, Schendel Mechanical delivers mechanical infrastructure, including ABSA certified process pipe fabrication, to a growing list of clients.
Schendel focuses its core operations on mechanical contracting in four key areas:
Including new construction and the refurbishing of existing facilities during construction without interruption to ongoing operations.
Providing prime mechanical contracting (plumbing, water, sewer, and HVAC) in commercial buildings and warehouses of varying sizes and complexities.
Including water and waste water treatment plants, pump houses and lift stations for industrial sites, municipal and First Nations projects, and pipeline projects.
Including non-process mechanical projects.
Building a culture of family has strengthened our organisation while securing talent for generations. It’s this continuity that forms the foundation for a team of highly skilled professionals ready to deliver on time and on budget.
The Schendel workforce is local, long term, and established in partnership with union. With facilities in Edmonton and Red Deer, Schendel operates primarily in Alberta with onsite teams for projects across Western Canada.
